Inspired by a sweater I knit for myself and my husband (Armas, by Mari Muinonen), I worked up the first Armas Hat from the scrap yarn left over from our sweaters. The pattern has evolved since then, and I have decided to offer the latest revision for free.

Suggested Yarn: Lion Brand Scarfie [78% Acrylic, 22% Wool; 312yd/285m per 150g skein]; color: Forest/Black; 1 skein
Suggested Needle Size: US 10/6mm
Notions: 4 Stitch Markers
Gauge
14 sts x 21 rws = 4 inches stockinette stitch
Please note: This latest version does not have quite the same placement of cables as pictured, because none of my test-knitters were able to replicate the row gauge I originally wrote this hat for in bulky yarn.
